Error with GD Bibliothek
« on: January 16, 2003, 05:06:24 PM »
Running the Auto-Thumbnailer, I'm getting this error:

Create thumbnail for: PA200064 (PA200064.JPG) ....
Warning: imagecreatetruecolor(): requires GD 2.0 or later in /mnt/htdocs/users/sklerk/sklerk/tekick.com/html/photo/includes/image_utils.php on line 68

Warning: imagecopyresized(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /mnt/htdocs/users/sklerk/sklerk/tekick.com/html/photo/includes/image_utils.php on line 77

Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /mnt/htdocs/users/sklerk/sklerk/tekick.com/html/photo/includes/image_utils.php on line 80

Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /mnt/htdocs/users/sklerk/sklerk/tekick.com/html/photo/includes/image_utils.php on line 82

   Error creating thumbnail!

This is after I modified the image_utils.php file. Before I modified this, I also got this error, but with less warnings.

What should I do? I just installed ImageMagick on my PC, but can't find the file convert.exe. I've read that I should link to the location of this convert.exe file in the settings of the control panel, right?

And yes, everything has been changed to CHMOD 777

Ich danke Ihnen im voraus!

Why did you modified the image_utils.php? Just change
Code: [Select]
define('CONVERT_IS_GD2', 0);
in includes/constants.php

I modified it, so the colors would come out better. I read it here somewhere.

I know what you mean, but that isn't the problem. If my host doesn't support GD, ImageMagick or NetPBM then I can't do anything else, right?
Too bad... :cry:
