Thumbnails problem

I use for create the thumbnails GD Bibliothek (4image 1.7). When I auto-create the thumbnails and resize the images the program give me error:

Create thumbnail for: Michael Wentink & Beata (South Africa) (Mb_1.jpg) ....  
Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg: './../data/media/10/Mb_1.jpg' is not a valid JPEG file in /home/dance/dancesport-www/4images/includes/image_utils.php on line 71

Error creating thumbnail!

How can I solve this problem?

It seems that the jpg file is corrupted. Sometimes images from digicams have no standard headers and php could not detect the files correctly.
Try to open the file in Photoshop (or any other image editor) and re-save the file.
